9 Useful Firefox Extension to Enhance Firefox

Firefox is one of the most popular Web browser and the best part is Firefox offers tons of extension which you can use to enhance your browser. Though before you end up adding lots of extension, I would suggest you to install only most useful extension. If you end up adding lots of Firefox extension, you might face Firefox slow down issue. It’s better to keep only those extensions which you use on a daily basis.
So I’m going to post only those addons which are appreciated all over and are very handy!
1. Greasemonkey:
Greasemonkey allows you to customize the look and feature of a web page displays using small bits of JavaScript. You can optimize 1000’s of scripts from http://userscripts-mirror.org and can optimize your browsing! Specially for social networking sites, you can install Greasemonkey scripts to disable ad or enhance it’s features.
2. Speed dial :
Speed dial gives a quick access the website you visit on a regular basis. when ever you open a tab it has quick link to the website you have configured it for. This is useful if you have a list of websites which you open all the time.
3. CoolPreviews:
It quickly enable us to see the preview of another link by just hovering mouse over the link. It is one of the recommended addon for Mozilla and i like it as it makes my work very quick!

4. Customize Google:
Who among us don’t know google. Google is one of the top search engine and certainly the best. How about tweaking Google a bit so that we can extrect more out of google..!!
Customize Google is one of that addon which let us customize google in various way.
* It removes Unwanted ads and spam
* Add more search engine to Google like yahoo, msn, Ask.comand etc.
The best part is all features are optional and you can configure according to your need!
5. Better Gmail2:
Gmail One of The email service which catches fire in a very short time. Since its a Google official email client most of the Internet lover use Gmail. Gmail once loaded is fast but there are many features which are missing in default gmail Like attachment icons.

6. Flashblock:
I’m very much p@r@noid about security and I’m very sure even you are! No one wants to give any piece of chances to hacker to take advantage of any bug on any website. This addons is especially for those people who stumble a lot or who visit lots of sites.
There are many sites which have embedded flash objects and at times they contains malicious code. Flash block is one of such program which prevent any such chance of getting infected by it! In simple word it Blocks the flash and you can only allow those flash file to play! Specially flash hacking was something hacker used a lot to hack orkut accounts. This is one must have security addon for Firefox.
7. Stumble upon:

8 ) Screengrab :
Screengrab is a nice Firefox addon which grab the whole page as image or selected portion.The following little keywords are at the request of those who can’t remember the name ScreenGrab! and want searches to work. It takes screen shots, screenshots – that is, shots, of web pages.
9) Scrapbook :
I’m very sure very few of you have heard of this extension, ScrapBook is a Firefox extension, which helps you to save Web pages and easily manage collection. In other word you can simple save the page to read it later.  You can also try it’s alternative extension call Read it later.
